Surrender to pleasure
As much pain as you want;
Gain in return for sacrifice
As much as the virtue of others.
The desire to want everything in the world
A collection of all sufferings;
Hoping to get the afterlife
All good deeds are consolation.
The addiction to pleasure is not permanent at all
It increases the turmoil in the world;
Absolute happiness in extreme sacrifice
In the afterlife.
No matter how much trouble comes
It is also in the hope of virtue;
Worldly happiness is evil beyond
His end is suffering.
Innumerable virtues are inherent in the suffering of Lord
In the prescribed test of Lord ;
There is no loss of truth-based action
Unexpected benefits are sure.

ভোগ বিসর্জন

ভোগের মোহে বিসর্জন দাও
অতি নষ্ট যতো চাওয়া ;
ত্যাগের বদলায় অর্জন করো
পরপারের পূণ্য যতো পাওয়া।
দুনিয়াবি সব চাওয়ার আগ্রহ
সব দুঃসহ যাতনার সমাহার ;
পরকালের পাওয়ার আশায়
সকল পূণ্য কর্ম সান্ত্বনার।
মোটেই স্থায়ী নয় ভোগের নেশা
তাহা বাড়ায় অশান্তি দুনিয়ায় ;
চরম ত্যাগ তিতিক্ষায় পরম সুখ
পরকালের জামানায়।
যতোই দুঃখ কষ্ট আসে আসুক
সহো তাহা পূণ্যের আশায় ;
জাগতিক সুখ পরপারে কুফল
তাহার পরিণতি ভোগ যাতনায়।
ভবের কষ্টে নিহিত অগণিত পূণ্য
বিধাতার নির্ধারিত পরীক্ষায় ;
ক্ষয় নেই সত্য নির্ভর কর্মফলের
তাতে আশাতীত সুফল নিশ্চয়।
